Shipping Policy

Overview

Mokshita Enterprises ships authentic Indian handicrafts across India and to 40+ countries worldwide. Every item is carefully handpacked by our team to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

Order Processing

We process and dispatch orders Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays). Our standard processing times are:

• Ready-to-ship items: Dispatched within 1–3 business days of order confirmation
• Made-to-order items (e.g., some Zardozi pieces, Pichwai paintings): 3–10 business days before dispatch
• Custom commissioned items: Timeline confirmed individually — typically 3–8 weeks

You will receive a dispatch notification email with tracking details as soon as your order ships. Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays are processed the next business day.

Domestic Shipping (India)

We ship across all states and union territories in India using trusted courier partners including India Post Speed Post, DTDC, Delhivery, and Blue Dart. The choice of courier depends on your delivery pincode and the nature of the product.

Remote area pincodes may experience slightly longer delivery times. We will notify you if your pincode is in a restricted zone.

International Shipping

We ship to 40+ countries via DHL Express, FedEx International, and India Post EMS (Speed Post). International shipping rates and delivery timelines:

Exact international shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on package weight, dimensions, and destination country. International shipping charges are non-refundable.

We currently do not ship to: sanctioned countries, North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Syria, or other destinations restricted under Indian export regulations.

Packaging & Handling

We believe the unboxing experience is part of the artisan story. All orders are packed with care:

• Paintings & flat artwork: Protected with acid-free tissue paper, sandwiched between rigid cardboard sheets, and wrapped in bubble wrap
• Marble & ceramic items: Individually bubble-wrapped and placed in double-walled corrugated boxes with foam padding
• Crochet & textile items: Folded in tissue paper and placed in a Mokshita-branded kraft box
• Zardozi embroidery: Laid flat in tissue and boxed to prevent compression
• International orders: All items are additionally sealed for moisture and labelled with customs declarations

We are committed to sustainable packaging — we use recycled and biodegradable materials wherever possible.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email containing:

• Your tracking number
• The name of the courier partner
• A direct tracking link

You can also track your order by contacting us via email or WhatsApp with your order number. Allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to become active after dispatch.

Delays & Lost Shipments

While we strive to deliver within the stated timelines, delays can occur due to:

• High-volume sale periods (festivals, holiday season)
• Natural disasters, extreme weather, or regional disruptions
• Incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer
• Customs clearance delays for international shipments
• Courier operational issues beyond our control

If your order has not arrived within 15 business days (domestic) or 30 business days (international) of the dispatch date, please contact us. We will investigate with the courier and, if the shipment is confirmed lost, we will arrange a replacement or full refund.

Customs & Import Duties

International shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and other fees levied by the destination country's customs authority. These charges are:

• The sole responsibility of the recipient
• Not included in our product prices or shipping charges
• Variable by country, product type, and declared value

We accurately declare the value and nature of all shipments on customs documentation in compliance with Indian export regulations. We do not understate values or misdeclare package contents.

If a package is refused by customs or returned to us, we will refund the product cost minus shipping charges and any applicable handling fees.

Cash on Delivery (COD)

We offer Cash on Delivery (COD) for handicraft orders within India:

• Available for orders up to ₹10,000
• COD fee: ₹50 (in addition to applicable shipping charge)
• Payment must be made in exact cash to the delivery agent at the time of delivery
• COD is not available for custom commissioned items, pre-order items, or international orders

If a COD order is refused at delivery without a valid reason, we may restrict future COD availability for that address.
